I use armors, I just don't use them on handful of maps where you're having to move all your troops a really, really long way through like, a winding castle map or something. The exception being if I plan on using them to block a path early on, or wait next to a wall to distract archers or something. But there are plenty of maps that aren't endless conga line gauntlets where they can wade into the fray and do their job as enemy reinforcements appear and so on

I hate this meme. Horses are nice but some people act like that's all that matters. I'm never in THAT much of a fucking rush and the idea that I should be rushing to finish everything in the minimum number of turns all the time frankly makes me want to break something.
