that anon was being somewhat reductionist and hyperbolic but honestly doesn;t seem that far of. The cliff notes of the DLC is, befriend a sweet kid with non-existent self-esteem then betray him and take his dreams from him until he mindbreaks and "goes joker", then publicly humiliate him and mindbreak him again, then steal his new dream, then the immutable gods of game logic beat him down so hard he's accepts he'll never measure up to, all while his bitch sister belittles him and the lazy toothpaste head who bully laughs at him. He even the only one through all this who apologies when he's at MOST only half to blame for this mess. .
It's telling at even here on /kiki/ many of whom who understandably praise the DLC for being of the few times Game Freak managed to write characters worth a damn, dislike how certain parts of the story unfolded (for me its pretty much the entire turtle part)
