Sure, language models generate text, but they’re getting integrated into tools that handle video synthesis, voice cloning, and image generation. When those systems converge, we’re not talking about chatbots writing poems — we’re talking about machines that can fabricate entire realities indistinguishable from the truth.
Nobody cared about early social media either… until it started toppling governments, swinging elections, and fracturing societies.
I’m not saying AI will ‘end the world.’ I’m saying it’s a force multiplier for information manipulation — and that’s worth talking about.
