Rødt (The Red Party) is a strategic choice for a socialist nationalist in Norway because it uniquely combines a strong defense of economic justice and national sovereignty. It opposes the EØS agreement, which allows foreign capital to undermine labor protections and wages, and it rejects neoliberal globalization that erodes democratic control over borders, welfare, and industry. While Rødt is explicitly anti-racist and internationalist in principle, its focus on working-class interests, state ownership, and resistance to EU interference aligns well with a nationalist vision. It’s one of the few parties that challenges both corporate power and supranational overreach from the left.
