>What does typology mean to you, and what does it mean to be a specific type?
I have a Jungian purist perspective. It's about understanding your unconscious and unconscious attitudes. Your type is not some sort of badge or label you wear over your personality to show of you're the hekkin special boi type. It's a map of your own psyche and explains the aspects you've ignored, repressed and disowned. It also tells you which aspects of your psyche you identify with.
Bonus: It tells OTHER PEOPLE what to expect from you if they understand typology well enough. Knowing someone's type will tell you what they're likely to project from their shadow. A thinking type, for example, will project their inferior feelings, dismissing their own emotions and attituding irrationality other people who express their emotions.
You can tell what type someone is simply by watching their projections.

Neither. It's the liminal space between who I was and who I will be.

Of course. Doesn't everyone? I have to think everyone has experienced that.
