The buildings are all those ugly commie grey, the place stinks of weed, and yeah it's boring. It has some lovely rivers running through it which are pristine. When I was there I watched a drunk/mentally ill paki chase a man down the street on a bike and a black man driving his motorbike through a tram stop.
It doesn't have much in the way of a nice European City Break especially when the guides of stuff to do there highlights just going to expensive shops.
