It's actually christcuckslop. Ragnar is seen very with the crucifix and the vikings are inaccurately portrayed as dirty rapists. Also there are a much of scenes in which the Pagans are using the crossbow, an advanced christcuck technology, which iirc was created after the viking age.
But yeah the writing gets worse and worse, at some point before the death of Ragnar all the historical events are just background to shitty drama.
The characters are really cool tho.
