this is strangely accurate because it reminds me of one of my own grandmother's she loved my dad but disliked my mum and her parents for some reason but doted over me a lot, I only learned about her bitchy ways after she passed, and while I appreciate not being told about it until after the fact it does sour some of the memories with the new perspective
