Couple of counters to your post.
1. Many people do unfortunately ship Stelle with Aventurine so you aren't quite right there
2. Topaz x Jade isn't as small as you think and is her 2nd biggest ship. It's only out shadowed by Topaz and Aventurine because of how much longer the other two have been around. Plus in game she has more of a motherly role towards them
3. Acheron, Bronya, and Seele aren't that safe. I know there's a lot of people that Acheron with Caelus. The game both sucks at and tries to push her caring for the TB. They also pair her with Aventurine. There's also people who ship Bronya with Caelus. And luckily to a lesser extent Luka is paired with Seele by some people.
Like you said people will ship anyone with anyone in HSR without anything conclusive. I will say it's slightly unfair to attack hetfags for being delusional and pairing Topaz with Aventurine when some yuri fans pair Robin and Firefly, who have never met before
