I hope not, 5K is the bare minimum that 27" should be expected to output since we've been stagnant at the 1440p/4K level for so long already. Honestly, we should be pushing 8K as the standard by now.
The first 8K TV was released back in 2015 (10 years ago):

It's a disgrace and I blame the dogslow cadence of bandwidth improvements by the DisportPort & HDMI Associations for bottle-necking progress which is why I welcome China's GPMI initiative (192 Gbps) to light a fire under their asses.
