Theoretically, yes. In practice though, your devotion is limited by your lack of enjoyment of what you are trying to devote yourself to. The idea of achieving mastery and being highly devoted to that thing is appealing, but for you the work involved is Sisyphean, whereas for a real devotee, it is highly rewarding.
