No, mainly because Vinland Saga goes beyond aversion to war and into aversion to conflict in general. You cannot reason with everyone. There will be desperate and depraved people that see violence as the only option. And to say that you will not defend your home and your family is the biggest disservice one can do. We all have enemies, we have them from the day that we are born. We are hated for how we look, where we come from, what society/culture we are from, and what we have or don’t have. These things have been a constant since the very dawn of our species. It will always exist in one way or another, it will not change no matter how hard we work to make it happen. You cannot run from it, you cannot destroy it, and you cannot reason with it.
