Nah...the T-14 was based of Object 195 which had soviet roots, but was cancelled.
Unlike the T-14, however, it wasn't ever dragged out to a military state parade.

There are standards regarding bullet weight, load, barrel twist etc. Only the french where a bit weird with the famas, but now that is being replaced by the m416.
