You're not alone anon.
minus the fit combat sports part I was pretty much the same. In good shape as a kid, got mental issues, got fat, lost the fat fueled by self-hatred and because I saw it as a way to regain control of my life, realized losing the weight didn't fix my fucked up mental state, regained all the weight, now I'm here again, losing it again.
Did you work on your depression and find ways to deal with it? If not that should probably take priority. Not saying you can't do both, but unless you fixed your mental state you're basically building a house without a foundation.
I managed to fix my depression about 90% of the way (as in I'm functional and even happy most of the time, but I still have the occasional short-term relapse) which gives me hope that this time I'll be able to maintain the weight after losing it (and life is much better now), but if you didn't fix the underlying issues, you're just repeating the same steps over and over again.
