Silver's English voice acting caused his fandom and comic depictions. Pete's voice was nasally, high pitched and sounded like he was trying and failing to be cool. It's why everyone called Silver whiny when 06 came out. Ian and Evan unironically completely misread Silver's entire character because of the English dub and invented his Archie and GOTF personalities based on it and no one bothered to tell them how wrong they were until last year because most people also don't know Silver's character beyond the English dub of 06.
