For me? Yes. I already knew I VR. MQ3S is fine at the three hundred dollar entry level if you are a, "gamer", "coomer", "simulator", or "socializer", but the MQ3 pancake lenses are now the VR standard. No new VR goggles will come with fresnel lenses.

Shooting games, flight simulator games, ehhh....porn..., and social experiences like clubs, karaoke, tourism are respectable content at the moment.
Deckard will never come out, just like Half Life 3 will never come out. Meta Quest already owns more than half the VR goggles on Earth. Valve will not try to compete with Meta Quest in delivering a better VR goggle to you.

Can't really, unless you own a PC, and live in Europe or Asia for a Pico 4. Pico 4 does not have all the Meta Quest store games, and Meta Quest population except for the crossplay PCVR games.

Halo style MQ3, MQ3S, strap solves this. You can just remove the face gasket.

We would create more VR content, but some of us are already satisfied with our daily VR opportunities. I am pretty satisfied.

Probably because the value of the Meta goggles are just respectable. I only upgraded from an Index for a better pixel resolution. Meta Quest 3 is the best, "cheap" VR goggles. If you're spending $1k, or less, on VR then you should expect to do your own investigation into upcoming, and recent, VR goggles. Most of us can just get an MQ3, or even an MQ3S, for pretty good VR.

We should not wait for better, more fully refined waveguide optics. Expect the marketplace mass production. We will have pancake lenses for a while, and only because Meta mass produces so many Meta Quest 3s. I am perfectly satisfied with pancake lens clarity.

This is true. Can be an hour, or a few hours to mod an old flatscreen game, or to even mod for a better VR game. DOOM VR takes less than half an hour. Star Wars Tie Fighter VR takes half an hour. Modding Skyrim VR is more than an hour

If shootin MetaQuest then get Pavlov Shack. At least a hundred and twenty people in lobbies at all times. Also, if you're shooting in VR then wear wrist weights. All the Anons are wearing wrist weights while playing VR :D
Maybe get a lens protector? There is a magnetic one on Amazon. Comes with interchangeable covers too for when you're not playing.
Get a 100 Watt type c wire with a 100 watt wall adapter, or else get a batter bank with...IDK how much battery...I use a 100 watt type c to type c wire.
Optimal PCVR is with a wifi 6 router, or an ethernet cable connected to your Quest type c port. Optimal also means a software, bought through Meta store, called, "Virtual Desktop".
Non-optimal means direct connection to your PC, with Meta software. Non-optimal can also mean SteamLink software.
