Deciding to live in a 3ED world is completely fair and reasonable and still 40k. You aren't delusional for saying you prefer the lore up to that point and stopping, you are making a conscious decision on a matter of taste to increase your personal enjoyment of the hobby. I say this as someone with Primaris models. You just have a tiny brain, the tiny brain makes you angry and you lash out at people enjoying the hobby in their own way.
