I feel like there must have been some translation errors that made things more difficult to understand: angels, true angels, fake angels, machine angels, angel ships, etc.
Were there ever any actual angels? I initially thought that the angels were cybernetic life or cyborgs, but there's that one artifact text saying that the angels kept replacing body parts with cybernetics.
I wish doekuramori would just make a manga.
