Meh, I'm an aspie and I haven't had any friends for coming up on 3 years. The years in my life where I've had at least one friend are fewer than the ones I've been completely alone. I think her having only one person she's close with is feasible: it could be like social minmaxing where she dumps her everything into one person who she's comfortable with.
