There's also this thread today that links to 1 particular game that nobody heard of but it's an insanely good genre and so are the 30k+ genres started from game editor & modding which the industry does not care for. Aaahh Half Life's Zombie Master now that was good game mode. Starcraft's Cat & Mouse maps, now that was great. An entire genre on its own.
