You mean to tell me people prefer a romance between two depressed people who connect on a character level and who have incredible chemistry on screen, offering many of the most memorable and fun moments in the game, and healing each other's insecurities and depressions, over two characters talking a grand total of two times, spending one talking about other stuff that makes one come across as shallow and unknowledgeable about what the other is like, and instantly falling in love over short and insignficant anecdotes that happened offscreen like giving someone a pencil?
The "romance" plot in this game is so goddamn bad that the usual crowd that would stan the lesbian relationship to the death just over the fact they're lesbians is now coping by shifting to the throuple narrative because literally the only actual chemistry point between them is that they both like Kris.

Even at this point I still can't tell if it's bad on purpose to prove a point later or not.
