As in, discussion around the game is primarily forced by a few dedicated actors - the discussion is mostly centered around promotion of the game to the general public which is external to the fanbase, and not discussing the game amongst people who like it. In the case of E33 it's childless millennials, for DS2 it's industry insiders sucking Kojima cock, for Yotei it's Sony fanboys and shills, etc. Other recent examples of this include Wukong(CCP shills), Stellar Blade(right wing-lite activists), Baldur's Gate 3(childless millenials again)
