The advantages and benefits of being a veteran are very real yet 99% of the population still refuses to join. Why is that? We get benefits because SOMEONE has to serve, so that (You) and your children don't get drafted. If the benefits of military service were worth it then everyone would do it, but clearly something doesn't add up because the overwhelming majority of people are still too scared or too fat to join.
You complain about vets, but you never had skin in the game. You literally could have joined the fucking Air National Guard and been a forklift driver once a month and gotten all the benefits, but again you were too scared. Never forget that literal teenage girls had the balls to enlist and you didn't.
