God doesn't tell us to fight Mystery Babylon, instead we're told flat out to flee from it and not allow ourselves to be corrupted in its presence. It's fated to implode in on itself in the greatest explosion of terror the world has ever seen and potentially ever will. The only choice that we have is to either suffer and die in that terror by taking part in it, or to flee as far as we possibly can from it and weather it.
