After careful thought, we’ve made the decision to officially bring 2WRW to a close. Over the past months, it’s become clear that both community engagement and our own drive to continue development have tapered off. Despite our efforts, the overall enjoyment among players wasn’t where we had hoped, and forcing things forward wouldn’t feel fair to anyone involved.

We want to specifically thank Rei for her work as a designer—her contributions really shaped the project’s aesthetic and vision. 2WRW wouldn’t have gotten as far as it did without her input.

The mod files and resources will stay available for anyone interested in exploring or building on them, but we won’t be issuing further updates or support.

Thanks again to everyone who played, gave feedback, and helped shape the project. We’re looking ahead to new things, hopefully with fresh energy and shared enthusiasm.
