If so...TO BE FAIR: 1) we don't know if it was the lore team, 2) SA2 was written strangely that they implied Gerald was referring to the Biolizard being the "pure" one in his final message, could be part of the canceled plot where there where multiple (not-android) Shadows, and 3) this was caught and corrected before the final version of the journal, though this is the sort of embarrassing beta content you don't want seeing the light of day.

Are you sure this isn't a coincidence? I'm pretty sure I heard it was mainly Japanese written and his only contribution was tying Shadow's yellow Chaos Emerald with the fake one.
