The economical angle of horror is really funny. Millenials loved big mansions, secret labs, or cruise ships and shit because for most of them they were places economically out of reach and therefore strange and novel enough to capture the imagination. Gen Z and A are so fucking poor and deprived that the most terrifying places on earth are chuck-e-cheese and hotel lobbies.
