Hey OP, I'd go with the CSX e-series, specifically the 3.6 inch barrel variant. Only thing about is no option for a wml, if it's going to be your HD pistol as well. They make 17 round magazines for the CSX so you can swap between the 12's for carrying and a bigger backup. It isn't steel framed, but at least it's aluminum right? Good luck OP, take care of your dad
