Not true. The music is still great and the battle animations are the best we've had in 3D and the best overall since the GBA era. Also the Japanese voice actors did a stellar job despite the shit script they had to work with. As goofy as Hortensia looks and acts, her Japanese voice actress absolutely kills it during her more serious scenes.
