I posted about this the other day, you can now access the storage inventory while the shop is closed (this took a considerable rewrite).
I still have hopes for a limited inventory while the shop is open, though. We'll see how it pans out.

How come the boneman has purple acne? Enemy gameplay wise sounds funny, though a pain to track down if you want to maximize exp per floor.
