>cosmic
This is everywhere outside earth. It’s where all the Lantern Corps reside, the New Gods, the hawk people of Thanagar, the beetle people of the Reach, the orange people of Tamaran, etc. it’s basically Star Wars out here with the space politics, and the wars
>supernatural
This deals with the different factions of magic users perpetually locked in conflict. The bad guys are usually demonic or corrupted, like Trigon, Eclipso, Neron. The good guys are usually outcasts & sometimes holy in nature, like Constantine, Dr. Fate, Etrigan
>planetary/continental
This ranges from the Birds of Prey, who fight local crime lords and transnational criminal operations, to Superman, who fights alien invasions and shit. This is sector you were talking about with all the Justice League orbiters. The JL are Earth’s protectors, so they often coordinate with other metahumans and teams
>city level
Basically any dork with a designated city. Batman, Green Arrow, Flash, Black Canary. This sector is usually a lot more zoomed in on city life, and local political/social issues.
>other realms of Earth
