So in Saba's case, first she was Senzawa, then when her audition to be Gura was accepted, she moved on to mostly being known as "Gura", with the Senzawa account being almost totally inactive. That makes it her "past life".

New fan name that was just voted on in the 1m celebration stream today. Kaniki are to Saba what chumbuds were to Gura. Several layered meanings, but most literally it translates to "crabbros" (kani = crab, aniki = bro).

Yeah, see picrel. Basically all the little points in the model's geometry that can warp and move to create the appearance of motion in the 3D model. The process by which this works is called "rigging", and in this case her rigger is someone called Cillia.
