Yeah the surge of anti-dub fags shitting on it without any context as to why people (Even japs) considered it to be one of the few good dubs barring the original script being altered was a red flag for tourists coming into these threads. Obviously I hate Funimation as much as most people on here but in this instance I felt like it was handled very well in terms of the performance and several ways to get around the lack of swear words in Japanese for the time. The recast isn't that bad at all, maybe Galterbelt might be the worst of the bunch because the authentic "Wuz Kangs" voice is dumbed down. Which is a shame because I felt like he was my favorite character. Otherwise? Very solid. An Anon mentioned how this could be a evil censored Galterbelt that took over from the actual Galter uncensored and that would be an hilarious plot point in regards to censorship if they have the balls to make that an actual episode/pivotal plot moment. Especially since it makes fun of the whole "Santiago" meme that has been going around and mocks the idea of minimal changes to avoid controversy, but thats just the dream scenario.
