The problem with Solaris was that he existed in 3 different points in time. That's why he needed Shadow and Silver.
It says here >>149378817 that Sonic gave his power to Shadow and Silver so if Solaris just existed in 1 point in time I don't see why 1 super form wouldn't be able to stop him.
Even so, just having Sonic at 1/3 of Solaris' power would already put him far more powerful than any of my Anti-Sonic friends here would like to admit.
