I'll give you a fig leaf. A single leaf. The only thing remotely plausible about the forced 50/50 theory so far is that I'm matching against far more people who are higher RP than people who are around the same RP or lower. I'm maintaining a ~80% WR though, and it could just be a side effect of the game's hidden mmr system trying to match me with an opponent of a similar mmr within an acceptable rp bracket, and the closest matches are the higher rp opponents.
