The Sunnah is that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was very close to Christians who played key roles in his life, from Bahira to Waraqah.
So this is wrong, it is against Sunnah. The Koran and Sunnah are the authority of Islam, and the Shia is the friend of Christians.
Imam Husayn had Christian companions at Karbala. John ibn Huwai. In Bethlehem, the Arab Christians are close to the Muslims. In Lebanon, they serve in Hizb Allah.
So not only is this against Sunnah, it is against the Koran as all companions of Jihad are granted Paradise. The Koran says Christians are the closest in compassion to Muslims.
