My "perfect world" foil for the HISS is actually this Sentinel 1 "tank" from the True Heroes toyline. It's not quite Hasbro quality but it's a great platform for modifying. It's basically a slightly shrunk-down Bradley Fighting Vehicle that's a good scale for 3.75" figures, and it's about the size of a HISS. Likewise, the Panther Tank from the Sergeant Savage line is a great foil against the Mauler and fits neatly into the same class of vehicle.
Regardless though, I think the MOBAT is the perfect thing to bring out as the Joe's answer to the HISS, at least as far as Classified Series is concerned. Much like the Mauler, the MBT-70 was a prototype that never saw field use so in that way it's kind of a timeless design from a future that never happened, and I think they could make something that surpasses the original toy. I'm just sad that that's not what we're getting this year.
