Honestly pretty scary at first. Everything up to this zone was fairly grounded in reality for the most part. You just had occasional large golems and trolls. Then in Caelid you suddenly have these massive mutated animals roaming everywhere and rotting corpses in the most hellish landscape with pussy blood pools everywhere. Like fuck dude. No other level in this game had a 'smell' that comes through the screen.
