Hell yeah! Dragons, dinosaurs, tortoises, snakes, and other cool reptiles always improve a game. In fact, just last night I was having a discussion about the dragons in Spyro and why the new ones look weird compared to the old ones. The tl;dr of the discussion was this: Old dragons were quadrupeds and had no clothes like Spyro and new ones are bipeds and have clothes, not to mention the artists bringing that inexplicable "furry miasma" to their art.
Anyway, looking forward to more progress.

Humility is good and all, but a little pride never hurts. I see it like this: Toby Fox and those other losers sling their pixelshart trash and "Worse Copy of Game X" and have the gall to demand you pay a premium for it, so you should have the same amount of, if not more, pride in your work.
With that being said, you are right to not let your hubris take over and keep improving; now that is a burden I seek to be rid of. I look forward to see how your game develops.
