Yeah, something like that was more or less what I was envisioning, except instead of a box thta's the PSU and fans/pumps, I already have the 2000w heatgun and thought basically

>heatgun goes to some box that fits to it snugly, attaches to heatproof line
>use an old dollar store glue gun chassis or something, mount a steel tube and some insulation in it
>thread the end so I can attach a pump needle/nozzle to that
>now have a 2000w heater driving 500 degree air through a line that goes to a pistol grip with a 1mm nozzle on it so I can fuck up and destroy not just anything I point it at but also my hands and maybe my desk
just haven't gotten around to it. maybe i'll go dumpster diving for scrap this week and finally bother with it
