Entirely irrelevant award at this point, but comparing what they used to give awards to when they started compared to now is just grim. The Koreans have poached many Germans from those brands too over the years FWIW, you've got Germans (or people that worked for them) working in the performance divisions and even as designers for Hyundai/Kia now.
