i'm also a sv1 master but the experience here is that you have to play strong decks if you want to win, otherwise you drop to topaz/emerald and get your wins against bad players on meme decks
best advice is to watch streamers play the decks you want to play and learn from that, also give this a read if you want to understand theory, both games are similar enough that it works
