Have not heard of it. Upon googling I found it's goldbacked. And that it is supposed to be a stablecoin. I don't think you can really "invest" into that. Stablecoins also are 1:1 real money.
Like USDT (Tether), one Token/Coin is 1USD.
And I assume KAU will also just move in accordance with gold. So it will move with Gold mostly, I assume. It's for people that want to "invest" in gold, digitally on crypto.

The difference with the Tokens I gave is that these token/coins are part of the ecosystem, the chain, the platform and are used for gasfees, transactions, governance etc. So there would demand as a driving force for price changes depending on the success of the platform/chain. And that success depends on what DeFI and/or RWA they provide. Those tokens are the "fuel" for the chains. The products are the RWA (Ondo brings them) or Blackrock and others (picrel).

KAU is an isolated currency essentially, that tracks Gold. KAU is the product that can be traded.

See picrel. Aptos.
Has +500million in RWA (left table) spot No.3

Right table shows what their assets is in general. Also has almost a billion in stablecoin USDT.
PACT for example is an RWA.
Down below you see "assets". There's Stablecoin and the individual PRODUCTS (KAU would also be listed there).
