Don't blame FF15, remember that wa VERSUS13, THERE WAS NO FF15! I'm pretty sure if Nomura knew from the start he was making a mainline FF and not an offset FF he would have done something VERY different. He knew he got screwed over and left before that decision and made Kingdom hearts 3 instead.
