Is it normal for one of these old EGR valves to leak this much from the underside vent port things when doing a smoke test? I had the smoke machine plumbed in to a vacuum port just behind the throttle body. A video would do it more justice but there was quite a bit of smoke coming out, not just a tiny little bit and it all seemed to be coming from distinct holes on the underside not from the roll crimp, and removing the vacuum line on top didn't make it stop nor come out of the vacuum port so the diaphragm is presumably still good and the smoke was definitely coming from the intake side.
