I think I'm the only guy who never cared enough about the Custodes to see them having women in their ranks as a problem. If anything it helps differentiate them further from the Space Marines, an interesting juxtaposition between the golden elite who are both sexes and the grunts who are exclusively men, expendable brutes meant to live and die for war while the Custodes keeps the Emperor safe and cozy in his big shack on Terra. Speaking of which, all female Custodes are definitely even more attractive than the Sisters of Silence (and later on, Sororitas) so it makes sense that they'd be based off of female bodybuilders.
