In a sOciEtY that legally forces toleration of everything, what is there to rebel against?
Indifference rules supreme
Rebellion was a thing when there was a unified common culture, it was part of healthy cultural growth through contradiction. Now that's illegal.
I mean you can say some shocking shit like NHH but usually that's done to milk attention and mindshare, there is no genuine care for art for art's sake anymore, every such move is an opportunistic and cynical attempt to create a new brand, product, sell, get fame, tour, feed the machine
