This is always the ironic part, government taking property and money from regular people is either seen as "just the way things are" or aren't even thought about, but the moment it is corporations then it is a problem.
If the government is going to spend my tax dollars on vidya development, I would at the very least want that vidya to be available to purchase in perpetuity.
