Dash writer here, I'll be honest I've mostly just been going with the flow, when I started the first green I did during the first of these threads, I remember I mostly wanted to explore the idea of how someone would react to having wings, with the emphasis being on freedom with a subtle look into how the pursuit of that freedom might have detriments, such as him nearly crashing into the ground
of course, I knew no one would stick around to see faggy pseudo-philisophical schizo ramblings about "what if we had wings" and I knew I'd like a mare in the green too, so Dash was a perfect choice, I considered Fluttershy, but I imagined the Anon as too focused on flying as often and as long as he could for someone like Fluttershy to make him stop
then I mostly just bounced from idea to idea but tried to make them connect
>Anon dreams and has an encounter with Luna
>As a result he wakes up early
>As a resuly he could encounter Applejack
>How?
>His cloud house drifts
>They get on each others nerves
>Pranks go back and forth and escalate
>What's the worst Applejack could do?
>Put a tree in Anon's cloud somehow
>Rainbow shows up again
>They actually have a connecting moment
and so on and so on until we got to where we are now in the story, I don't exactly have specifically an "ending" in mind, but I know what general direction I want this story to go, and that's been good enough for me whenever I've written green
my advice to anyone who wants to write? pick a mare, pick a race for Anon to be, fuck it, make Anonicorn, pick something you've always wanted to explore, it doesn't matter if it's been done before or not, cause it's still your exploration of the idea and go for it
remember these three things
1) You'll never get good or better at writing if you don't write at all
2) It's never too late to write
3) This is fucking 4chan, no one expects quality, just write, faggot
