>have a commercial kiddie shonen phase (Yugioh, Digimon, etc)
>enter & worship One Piece and/or Naruto as a preteen, and start identifying with anime
>maybe entertain Sailor Moon, InuYasha, Bleach, TTGL, Fairy Tail, and/or My Hero Academia

>discover & worship Death Note, Code Geass, Shingeki no Kyojin, and Maybe SAO
>get into anime communities and initiated into proper weebdom
>pick up the romcoms (Clannad, Toradora) and the lewds (HsotD, DxD)
